Morgan Clary, LPC ~ President

Morgan Clary is a Licensed Professional Counselor serving as a Clinical Advocate for A Fortune 500 Managed Care Organization, working with all populations of people throughout the nation. She was born in Los Angeles, California and lived in Texas prior to moving to Atlanta, GA to attend Spelman College and later Argosy University where she obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.

Morgan primarily works closely with Psychiatric facilities to discern the appropriate needs for each patient. Morgan also provides counseling services to individuals and couples for depression, anxiety, relational issues, substance abuse, domestic and family violence as well as other life stressors. Morgan has experience with several populations of a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Women empowerment is important to Morgan because of the need to redefine how society shapes women to think of themselves and other women. It is so necessary for women to have each other’s back, to lift each other up and push each other forward. Leaders in Heels is the space and opportunity to have these types of relationships flourish.

Now this is a story all about how

my life got to where it is right now

I’d like to take a minute

so read this here

as I tell you how I became a Leader in Heels

And that’s just about how far I will go with my rap endeavors. Similar to many individuals that were raised amidst poverty, criminal activity, and individuals who suffered from psychological issues, I needed an outlet. A rap career didn’t seem very promising, therefore, my natural drive for excelling academically appeared to be a more suitable option.

From Cleveland Ohio, I relocated to Nashville, TN to attend Fisk University and obtained my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Spanish. Upon graduation, I continued my education at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University where I received her Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Currently, I am employed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at a Crisis Stabilization Unit where she provides crisis management services to adolescents with suicidal and homicidal ideations and psychosis.

There were so many amazing women that were willing and eager to provide assistance and support throughout my journey! It was truly a blessing to have other women share their knowledge, perspective, and experience to prepare me for different phases of life. Leaders in Heels, Inc focuses on providing opportunities to maintain open dialogue along women and establishing positive relationships amongst women. I couldn’t be more excited about my role in Leaders in Heels! Serving as Director of Social Engagement I am able to find creative methods to combine networking, mentorship, and dialogue into purposeful activities and events.
